Although you can always tap on the text field to reposition your cursor, sometimes it is easier to move the cursor a few characters, backward or forward, from the keyboard. MessagEase makes cursor control quite easy.

Drag right/left on the space button to move the cursor right/left, one character at the time.

You can also Drag-And-Return to move the cursor backward or forward by one word.

If you drag and hold, on the space button then you get a repeating effect.

You can also drag on the shown locations for cursor left/right or cursor up/down.

A drag-up-and-return k on the top third button (key I for English keyboard) moves the cursor to Home, the beginning of the text document.

A drag-down-and-return o on the bottom third button (key S for English keyboard) moves the cursor to End, the end of the text document.

MessagEase also provides you with ways to adjust your selected text. After you double-tap (tap-hold for ICS) on a word or phrase to select a word or a range of text, you can drag left or right on the space bar to increase or decrease the size of your selection.

Please note, that dragging (left or right) on the left half of the main space bar, moves the selection marker at the beginning of the already selected range. Similarly, dragging (left or right) on the right half of the main space bar moves the selection marker at the end of the already selected range.
